Sourced Materials
We have specialist purchasing skills and tools on site complete the sourcing of all materials. We have access to a global network of suppliers and manufactures to supply a wide range of materials from board level components to metal enclosures.
We can source hard to find and obsolete components for both RoHS and Non-RoHS applications.
Gemini have invested in powerful MRP/ERP software to manage customer inventory and future requirements. A quick response BOM configuration process allows our purchasing department to react quickly to material demand. Full reporting tools allow us to provide traffic light reporting on kit status and trial kitting capability within minutes of production call off or discrete order demands. Stocked Materials
We hold a large inventory of standard materials including all common resistors and capacitors. These items are typically kept on reels ready for automated placement and are provided at no charge on prototype orders. As such items are purchased in large volume the additional costs are kept to a minimum. We are happy to accept components on a full or free issue part basis.
Our advanced MYDATA placement lines operate with intelligent AGILIS feeders, typically we may not require all the inventory on full reels. This allows us to minimise the wastage of components during SMT placement, helping to keep costs optimised.
We are able to provide a tape & reeling service in house for components that can not be purchased or supplied in a suitable format for automated placement. We do however ask that materials are supplied in accordance with our published guidelines, these can be found in our download centre. |
